The luxury stroller is packed with features, while the fashion-forward design is bound to turn heads while you walk down the street.

I did my research, tested it out, and here is my honest Nuna Demi Grow stroller review!

Quick Summary

The Nuna Demi Grow stroller is one of the best luxury convertible strollers in the market.

The stroller is perfect for running everyday errands and navigates easily between store aisles with the shortened seat design.

In addition, it features 23 different seating options and can be used from infancy to toddlers, so it’s the ultimate model for a growing family!

1. Foldability: 4.5/5

The Nuna Demi Grow folds easily and reaches compact dimensions of 35 x 25 x 23.4’’, so it easily fits into any car trunk.

It might not be the best compact stroller on the market, but you won’t find any problems there when it comes to foldability.

2. Storage Compartments: 3.5/5

The storage basket is spacious, but you can say farewell to the basket if you decide to add the second seat!

The access will be completely limited with the other seat attached, so you might carry all your necessities or attach them to the stroller handles.

3. Maneuverability: 5/5

The Nuna Demi Grow has a slim design that easily navigates in narrow passages.

A smooth ride is guaranteed with all-wheel suspension and foam-filled tires that work amazing on all-terrain.

4. Seating Configurations: 5/5

The stroller’s unique 23 seating configurations will amaze every parent of two kids.

You can attach two baby car seats, a toddler seat, and an infant seat, or throw in a bassinet for a newborn.

A Few Words About It

The Nuna Demi Grow model is a fantastic option for parents with two kids close or far apart in age!

With the choice of 23 different seating configurations, parents will not find any problems with seat installations.

In addition, the stroller is built from premium materials such as an aluminum stroller frame and leatherette handlebar, and swing-away bumper bar.

You can use the Nuna Demi Grow in the winter and summer as it features a mesh seat for warmer days!

In addition, with the custom dual suspension, you can genuinely feel that Nuna is built for all-terrain.

What Does Nuna Demi Grow Stroller Have to Offer You?

The Nuna Demi Grow stroller is one of the most spectacular luxury strollers parents often debate about. Why?

Well, because this is not precisely the "world’s most affordable stroller," and you need to know what you are getting if you want to invest smartly.

This stroller can be used from birth with an infant car seat or a bassinet, all until your kiddo is around 50 pounds.

In addition, the intelligent design of the Nuna stroller allows you to turn it from a single to a double stroller in seconds. This is, of course, if you purchase the additional car seat.

I found that a lot of the parents with kids close in age love this duo! Same here!

I have used it only as a single stroller, but I am still quite impressed with the performance.

Before my purchase, I had doubts as I wasn’t sure just how different this stroller was from my regular $150 umbrella stroller. Was I paying for quality or brand only?

Honestly, it took me a while to test it out, but I am proud to say that this stroller is not "all-time", but it’s a spectacular item for everyday use.

It has an incredible build of lightweight but the durable aluminum frame and plastic components.

Now, don’t get me wrong here. Many of the strollers are built from these materials, but they tend to feel flimsy at times.

However, Nuna felt "expensive" as soon as I picked it up. You would have to see for yourself what I mean here.

The Nuna Demi Grow stroller is often compared to the UPPAbaby and other competitors, but here is the thing.

You would expect Nuna to be bulky as they both can alter into a double stroller, right?

Wrong! Nuna is a breath of fresh air for easy maneuverability and a slim design that navigates with ease.

This stroller is available in three eye-catching colors, and all of them have a leatherette handlebar that feels expensive! But, not only does it feel pricey, it looks that way as well!

A lot of the parents agree when I say that this is one of the most stylish designs for a convertible stroller

1. Seating Configurations

If you asked me what the fascinating feature of the Nuna Demi Grow stroller is, I would have to say it’s the seating configurations

This convertible stroller can be used as a single pram, double, or twin stroller and therefore fits most growing families.

In addition, you can attach two infant car seats, two toddler seats, or two bassinets and have an all-in-one stroller!

With the purchase, you will get two car seat adapters compatible with the Nuna Pipa car seats.

I am always terrified of the assembly when the package arrives at my doorstep. However, I didn't even have to look at the manual when I was putting the Nuna Demi Grow together.

Okay, maybe I took a peek, but the stroller is incredibly easy to assemble, even for beginners like myself.

When I learned that this stroller includes 23 different seating options, I just knew this Nuna stroller would never leave my side.

I know what you must be thinking "What could I possibly need 23 seating options? Isn’t that a bit too much"? At first, I only used up to 6 configurations, but I love all the options as my baby is growing!

Your baby can ride forward-facing, rear-facing, up, down, or install two baby car seats and watch them interact if you have twins!

There are numerous possibilities, and you can never get enough of them.

2. Nuna Demi Grow Seats

Now, I told you about the configuration, but what about the seats themself? Are they that comfortable?

You can tell that Nuna thought of everything when it came to these seats.

They are equipped with plush padding to deliver the comfiest ride to your baby and are suitable for colder and warmer months. How so?

Well, they include a removable seat liner that you can remove during warmer days so your kiddo can enjoy a breathable mesh underneath.

One of the best things about these seats is padded in crucial areas such as shoulders and headrest.

This is extremely important if your baby is getting used to the new seat and does not yet have proper head support.

In addition, each seat includes a rain cover. Both of the stroller seats have a 50 lbs weight limit capacity which is impressive.

When you look at the competitor brands and their double strollers, you will see that the UPPAbaby Vista V2 stroller, for instance, has a 50 lbs limit in the upper toddler seat while the second seat can take only 35 lbs.

That’s why the Nuna is a better pick if you have kids close in age

3. Infant + Toddler Friendly

One of the reasons I love the Nuna Demi Grow stroller is that it’s both infant and toddler-friendly!

If you have two kids, you will adore this stroller. You can do a combo and attach a toddler seat and an infant seat, or add a basement if your youngest is not yet past the 6-month limit.

The Nuna stroller has a bucket seat recline option which offers you fully flat seat positioning, so it’s perfect if you have a newborn.

The recline process is also done one-handed, which is helpful if your hands are busy and your baby is fussy for a nap.

The upper seat or the toddler seat has an adjustable leg rest, reversible, and a 5-point harness for ultimate protection.

The main toddler seat attaches super quickly and can also recline.

There is also a convenient bumper bar, but it can be easily removed when taking the baby out of the stroller seat.

Also, the bumper bar is covered in leatherette, just as the handlebar on the stroller.

As for the bassinet, it is sold separately, but it has exceptional quality.

Not only does it have comfortable padding for the proper support of the baby, but it also includes a carry handle for more accessible transportation to the house.

Nuna Demi Grow offers you the benefit of attaching an infant car seat or the bassinet above the toddler seat so you can have a closer look at the baby.

My toddler loves riding in its toddler seat below as it offers him privacy!

4. How Is Nuna Demi Grow on the Road?

Could it be that this convertible stroller is all-terrain as well? Yep, it’s true!

The Nuna Demi Grow stroller has fantastic all-front swivel wheels and all-wheel suspension that offers a smooth ride!

Of course, you will love it for everyday walks, but those off-road trips will be no exception!

The wheels are foam-filled and rubber, so they cushion down every bump on the road. If you haven’t tried out these types of wheels before, this is your chance!

The front wheels will allow you to navigate in narrow streets and store aisles easily. Plus, the entire design of this Nuna stroller is slim, so it’s perfect for a busy city

What’s unique about these wheels is that they include fenders, so they protect parents’ feet from getting dirty.

Not only that, but they will also protect the child’s feet if they dangle from the stroller seat.

Overall, the Nuna Demi is sturdy for a double stroller design and can take any terrain obstacle!

5. Storage Options

The Nuna Demi Grow stroller has a spacious storage basket, but it has a catch.

When you attach the second seat below, you will see that there isn’t much space left for you to put your belongings.

The problem with the storage basket is quite similar to convertible strollers. For instance, you also lose access to the Britax B-Ready stroller.

The only option is to hang the diaper bag on the stroller handles. You don’t have to worry about the tip over as the stroller is ready for this situation.

If you would still prefer a basket with a greater storage capacity and better access, I suggest you opt for UPPAbaby Vista.

It has a 30 lbs capacity, and you can fit a whole-day-outing worth of necessities.

6. Canopy

I think many parents agree with me when I say that the canopies on the Nuna stroller are exceptional!

On this model, the canopy is huge! It offers optimal sun protection to the little passenger in both of the Nuna car seats

You will be astonished when you see that this canopy is extendable and offers up to 50 UPF protection.

With the Dream Drape visor, your baby will have the ultimate protection against those harmful UV rays.

I wish all strollers include peek-a-boo windows like Nuna does!

Not only is it convenient for summer days, but it offers parents a sound mind when they want to check on the kids in the two seats.

In addition, the window is made out of fine mesh, which offers excellent airflow.

This is one of the most high-quality canopy designs I have seen in convertible strollers. Usually, the canopy would fall during recline positions, but not this one!

Here you can see the dream drape design along with the sleek handlebar.

7. Parent-friendly

I am stoked when I see that this double stroller is also parent-friendly! What I mean by this is that it has an adjustable handlebar that accommodates to different heights.

In addition, the handlebar can be adjusted in three different positions.

What’s even better is that it has a sewn-in leather cover! If that doesn’t scream luxury, then I don’t know what does.

The adjustment is not one-handed, but it’s still relatively easy to do.

Alternatives to the Nuna Demi Grow Stroller

I get it; you love the look of the stroller, but the price may be just a bit out of your price range. What should you do?

My top alternative recommendation would be the following item:

1. Britax B-Ready G2

The Nuna Demi Grow and Britax B-ready G2 stroller have a pretty similar design.

These two strollers have a unique design that stacks the second seat on top of the toddler seat.

In this way, you get to check on the baby more often while the older sibling enjoys its privacy in the sibling seat.

In addition, this stroller retails for under $300, so it’s considerably cheaper than the Nuna stroller.

These are also great luxury options

2. Bugaboo Fox

Believe it or not, the Bugaboo Fox is more expensive than the Nuna Demi stroller, but it’s because it features a bassinet in the purchase!

Like Nuna, the Bugaboo Fox can act as a cozy double stroller, and it has a reversible seat design!

If you searched for compact folded stroller dimensions, I would have to give the Bugaboo Fox the upper hand.

3. Thule Sleek City Stroller

The Thule city stroller is another everyday stroller with a narrow and slim design you can take everywhere! It is pricey, but the quality is outstanding.

It also includes a reversible seat and a flat recline so your kid can have a comfy nap.

However, the ‘rumble seat’ is attached to the front of the stroller.

What Nuna Demi Grow Stroller Lacks?

One of the biggest disadvantages of the Nuna Demi Grow stroller is the lack of storage when adding the sibling seat.

Although many of the convertible strollers sacrifice storage basket access, this one completely blocks it.

As soon as you install the second seat, you can say goodbye to the storage basket.

Another disadvantage is the infant car seat compatibility.

As the Nuna Demi Grow is compatible only with PIPA car seats, there are certain limitations.

Not many parents are fans of this car seat series, so it would be nicer if the choice were a bit broader.

The weight of the Nuna Demi Grow should also be talked about more often! I find that a lot of the sites neglect to mention that this is one heavy stroller!

At 27 lbs, the Nuna Demi can be a challenge to maneuver when you convert it to a double stroller!

Note that the total weight of the stroller does not include canopy, winter seat cover, or arm-bar, so it easily equals out to 30 lbs!

If you are searching for a lightweight single stroller that converts to a double, this is not the one

Other than these few downsides, I don’t have anything wrong to say about Nuna Demi Grow. It truly is amazing when it comes to looks and performance.

Can you use Nuna Demi Grow from birth?

Yes! You can use Nuna Demi Grow from birth up to 50 pounds. After that, parents can either attach an infant car seat or a bassinet.

If you plan a second baby, you can even expand the stroller to a double stroller design!

Final Words

If you want to invest in high-quality design and have a growing family, I see no better pick than this stroller!

Although it has a few storage and car seat compatibility limitations, the Nuna Demi Grow is a timeless model that will last you for a long time!
