Our Favorite 3-Wheel Strollers - Overview
1. Single 3-Wheel Strollers

$$$$BOB Gear Revolution Flex 3.0 ~ 28.5 lbs - BOB Revolution Flex is a legend among strollers. It's by far the most durable and convenient jogger stroller you can find. Air-filled tires, a suspension system, and a ton of storage space are only some of the fantastic features it offers. But it is costly and not that easy to fold.

$$Graco FastAction Fold Jogger ~ 38 lbs - If you love Graco and could use a travel system including a jogger stroller, this is the one for you. It's affordable, well-built, and genuinely comfortable. So I recommend it as one of the best mid-rangers you can find. However, it could use a suspension system.

$$ — Baby Trend Expedition Jogger ~ 38 lbs - This is the best budget-friendly travel system you can find for the price. It includes the jogger stroller, an infant seat, and the seat base. Equipped with air-filled tires, it's great for all terrains. Yet, the wheels can become slightly wobbly.

$ — Britax B-Agile Lightweight Stroller ~ 18 lbs - If you need a lightweight 3-wheel stroller for city strolls, but also bumpy terrain; this is the one for you. It's lightweight and compact but includes a suspension system, so the ride is smooth. I don't like that it has no footrest, though.

$$$ — Chicco TRE Jogging Stroller ~ 28.5 lbs - If you love to be in control of things; this is the stroller for you. It includes a parent's console with a decelerator, handbrake, and swivel lock, so you can adapt the stroller to the terrain easily. You can optimize the suspension system and turn it into a travel system without the adapter. It's slightly heavy, though.

$$ — Baby Jogger City Mini ~ 18.8 lbs - Here's one budget-friendly lightweight stroller that's perfect for city strolls. You can use it for traveling since it folds down easily and fits every trunk, and it's very lightweight, so it doesn't add much to your luggage weight. On the other hand, It's not built for rough terrains.

$ — Jeep Deluxe Patriot Open ~ 26.98 lbs - This is a solid mid-ranger with a durable design and all-terrain wheels. It's compatible with most infant seat brands, and it's highly maneuverable on different terrains. However, after a while, the front wheel becomes wobbly.

2. Double 3-Wheel Strollers

$$$$Thule Urban Glide 2 Jogging Stroller ~ 34.2 lbs - If you need a superior double jogging stroller for your twins, this is your stop. Thule is an elegant, sturdy, durable, and easily maneuverable jogging stroller with fantastic features. It performs flawlessly, but some customers reported that the front wheel becomes wobbly.

$$$Joovy Zoom X2 Double Jogging Stroller ~ 28 lbs - This is another mid-range double stroller on our list. It's sturdy, easy-to-maneuver, and not too heavy. If a large storage basket plays a role for you, this model is the right choice. But, it doesn't have a peek-a-boo window.

$$ — Baby Trend Expedition Double ~ 25 lbs - This is the lightest and most affordable double stroller you can find. It's foldable, sturdy, and smooth, thanks to the large pneumatic wheels. It includes a ton of storage space, but it's not the best-built model you'll find.

Best Three-Wheel Strollers on the Market - Top 10 Picks

BOB Gear Revolution Flex 3.0 - The Best Overall
  • Brand: BOB Gear
  • Price: $$$$
  • Type: Jogging stroller
  • Tires: Air-filled
  • Weight recommendation: 5-75 lbs
  • Weight: 28.5 Pounds

There are plenty of reasons why I love this stroller, but the main reason is how smooth the ride is on different terrains.

This is incredibly important for me because I love to jog off-road, and I don't want my baby to feel every bump that we stumble upon.

Now, what makes this stroller suitable for different terrains are large pneumatic tires and a suspension system.

It absorbs shock and prevents the transfer of pressure to your baby as you get to the bumpy terrain.

best 3 wheel stroller

The swiveling front wheel can lock, so it's convenient for everyday use and jogging. And the lightweight aluminum frame keeps the entire structure very sturdy but not too heavy.

I also like that the handlebar is adjustable.

I find the 90-degree position the most comfortable for me when jogging, so I prefer strollers with this hinge handlebar mechanism.

Another important feature is that the stroller is car seat compatible.

With the car seat adapter, you can attach almost all major brand infant seats. And if you're riding a toddler, the supper-padded seat with an infinite recline system ensures comfort and coziness as well.

There is a lot of storage room, thanks to the large storage basket and six additional pockets, so it's functional from that point of view.

On the other hand, it's not really the easiest to fold.

It takes three steps to fold it down, which is not impressive given how many strollers have a one-step folding mechanism. And, it weighs a lot, so it's not quite a travel-friendly option.

It fits most trunks, though, and it is, after all, specifically made for jogging.

Pros
  • Smooth ride
  • All-wheel suspension
  • A lot of storage room
  • Large canopy
  • Adjustable handlebar
  • Infant car seat compatible
Cons
  • Not the easiest to fold

Graco FastAction Fold Jogger - The Best 3-Wheel Travel System
  • Brand: Graco
  • Price: $$
  • Type: Jogging stroller
  • Tires: Air-filled
  • Weight recommendation: 5-50 lbs
  • Weight: 38 lbs

While Bob Revolution Flex undoubtedly is the best-built stroller for jogging with numerous advantages, I have to agree it's not the most cost-efficient option.

With that in mind, for parents in search of a more budget-friendly option, I included this excellent offer from Graco.

For half the price of Bob's stroller, you get the entire Graco travel system: the stroller, the infant car seat, and the base.

However, the budget-friendly price doesn't make it inefficient or cheap.

On the contrary, it also includes air-filled tires, a swiveling front wheel that locks, and a huge storage basket. The seat is padded, and the overall maneuverability of the stroller is excellent.

Now, it does not include the all-wheel suspension system, so it doesn't take the bumps gracefully, according to parent reviews. Therefore, I would not recommend it for offroading.

However, in comparison to Bob Revolution Flex, the folding system features the 1-second/ 1-hand mechanism that enables you to break it down easily. So, that's another plus.

As for the canopy, it doesn't offer the coverage that Bob does; it's definitely narrower, but not bad. It's pretty decent and sturdy.

And when it comes to extras, some features I like are the multiple-recline system of the seat, parent's tray and child's tray, and the extra-large storage basket that definitely fits a lot of things.

To be entirely honest, I've seen much better strollers quality-wise, but the quality-per-price ratio is definitely on point and more than fair. So I would recommend it as an excellent budget offer.

Pros
  • Infant car seat included
  • Adjustable canopy
  • Easy folding mechanism
  • Air-filled wheels
  • Large storage basket
  • Reclining seat
Cons
  • No suspension system

Baby Trend Expedition Jogger - The Most Affordable 3-Wheel Travel System
  • Brand: Baby Trend
  • Price: $$
  • Type: Jogging stroller
  • Tires: Bicycle
  • Weight recommendation: 5-50 lbs
  • Weight: 41 lbs

Here we have another affordable travel system, consisting of a jogger stroller, an infant car seat, and a car seat base.

This offer is even more budget-friendly than the Graco set, yet it's pretty decent in quality and definitely doesn't fail to deliver, given more than 10000 positive ratings on Amazon.

So, the first feature I like about this stroller is the tires.

It's equipped with all-terrain bicycle wheels with a swiveling front wheel. You can lock it for jogging or leave it for an everyday stroll.

The handlebar is covered in foam and ergonomically shaped, so the grip is pretty comfortable, contributing to the overall ease of use and maneuverability.

Another great thing is the canopy.

The extended canopy offers excellent coverage, and it has a mesh window to check your little one from time to time. However, the entire canopy pivots, so you can move it to the front to find the perfect position.

best 3 wheel stroller travel system

What parents find super-useful is the huge storage basket and the parent's tray with two cupholders for your coffee and water. And your baby also has a tray for the refreshments and snacks.

The seat has a 5-point harness and multiple reclining positions, and the stroller folds down to a fairly compact size that fits most trunks, so it's also a fine choice for traveling.

As for the Baby Trend car seat, it has all the essential features, has more padding than a toddler seat, 5-point harness, and exhibits the standard quality.

Generally, parents are very satisfied with the strollers, but it seems like the wheels become a little wobbly after a while.

Pros
  • Bicycle tires
  • Multi-position reclining seat
  • Locking front swivel wheel
  • Five-point safety harness
  • Pivoting canopy
  • Foot brake
  • Includes the infant seat
Cons
  • Wheels become wobbly

Britax B-Agile Lightweight Stroller - The Best Lightweight Option
  • Brand: Britax
  • Price: $
  • Type: Jogging stroller
  • Tires: EVA foam
  • Weight recommendation: 5-55 lbs
  • Weight: 18 lbs

Here we have one lightweight model from Britax, built to provide a comfortable, smooth ride but add as little weight as possible to your stuffed trunk.

The secret's in a lightweight aluminum frame that keeps the structural integrity but doesn't weigh too much, hence showing a fantastic strength-per-weight ratio.

Now, the stroller, of course, has a 3-wheel system with the swiveling front wheel. But, unlike the previous model I reviewed, Britax B-Agile doesn't have air-filled tires.

On the contrary, it has EVA foam wheels, smaller but more durable than pneumatic ones. How?

Foam wheels are softer than plastic ones, but they are not as prone to punctures as air-filled tires, so they are excellent for rough terrains.

What is more, this stroller is equipped with a suspension system, so your little one won't feel the bumps you come around.

Another thing I simply love about this stroller is the click-n-go system that makes the stroller compatible with every Britax infant seat.

Thanks to the quick folding mechanism, you can fold the stroller down in a second one-handedly, and the folded size is very compact and lightweight.

I also like the canopy. It offers fantastic coverage and seems quite sturdy.

What I don't like is that there is no footrest, so the children slip down when trying to climb up by themselves.

Pros
Cons
  • No footrest

Chicco TRE Jogging Stroller - Unmatched Engineering
  • Brand: Chicco
  • Price: $$$
  • Type: Jogging stroller
  • Tires: Pneumatic
  • Weight recommendation: 5-55 lbs
  • Weight: 28.5 lbs

Chicco, as always, showcases an entire series of advanced features that genuinely make your everyday life way easier.

This model, in particular, is a high-end stroller built for your child's comfort, whichever terrain you decide to conquer.

I personally believe that this model's biggest advantage is the advanced control system.

Namely, the handlebar is basically a parent's console where Chicco installed a decelerator, which enables you to control the speed. There is also a small lock on the decelerator, acting as a parking brake.

best 3 wheel stroller with car seat

The swiveling front wheel can be locked from the console too. Chicco added a small switch that controls the swiveling wheel, so you can switch between jogging and strolling mode effortlessly.

Now, when it comes to the quality of the ride itself, the stroller includes large pneumatic tires, so the ride is pretty smooth.

However, there's also a suspension system that you can lock or unlock as terrain demands.

The oversize canopy offers fantastic coverage, and it's water-resistant, so your little one is protected from the elements.

Now, one feature I absolutely love is that the seat is completely removable. You can take it off, and then simply click the Chicco KeyFit infant seat in, and you got yourself a travel system.

The storage basket is neither big nor too small, so it's big enough for diapers, let's say. And the entire stroller folds down to a size that fits most trunks, so it's portable to a certain degree.

All in all, I love this stroller; it's genuinely well-built and incredibly practical. But if a certain part breaks, don't expect a replacement.

Pros
  • Suspension system
  • Accelerator
  • Locking swivel front wheel
  • Handbrake
  • Control console
  • Well-built
  • Converts into a travel system
Cons
  • No replacement for the broken parts

Baby Jogger City Mini - The Most Affordable Lightweight Option
  • Brand: Baby Jogger
  • Price: $$
  • Type: Jogging stroller
  • Tires: Pneumatic
  • Weight recommendation: 5-50 lbs
  • Weight: 18.8 lbs

Here we have another lightweight and compact 3-wheel stroller, pretty similar to the Britax B-Agile model I reviewed-The Baby Jogger City Mini.

Now, the first thing I want to clarify is that this is not a jogging stroller.

It includes three small plastic wheels that are not built for jogging or rough terrains. Yes, you can lock the swiveling front wheel, but it doesn't make the stroller convenient for jogging.

The front wheel has a suspension, so the ride is pretty comfortable and smooth, yet I'd limit this stroller's usability for the city.

You can recline the seat to a near-flat position, and the footrest is adjustable as well. So it's great that you can find the most comfortable position for your little one.

Also, the stroller is compatible with infant seats and bassinets, so there are different configurations you can choose from.

I also like the canopy.

It offers great coverage, hence can protect your little one even when it's raining. But the peek-a-boo window is not made of mesh but transparent nylon, so It doesn't offer much ventilation.

The best thing about this specific stroller is the foldability.

It folds down in one movement and one second. Pull the strap in the middle of the stroller, and it folds down to a super-compact size. It's also very lightweight, so great for traveling.

What I don't like is the sturdiness. Because of the lightweight design, the stroller can tip over easily, so you need to be careful.

Also, the handlebar is not adjustable, and if you want a parent tray or a child tray, you need to buy it additionally.

Pros
  • Easy fold
  • Compact
  • Lightweight
  • Reclining seat
  • Large canopy
Cons
  • Not sturdy enough
  • No parent tray

Jeep Deluxe Patriot Open - Sturdy and Reliable Option
  • Brand: Jeep
  • Price: $
  • Type: Jogging stroller
  • Tires: Air-filled rubber tires
  • Weight recommendation: 5-50 lbs
  • Weight: 26.98 lbs

Here we have one all-terrain jogging stroller with large air-filled rubber tires that provide a smooth, comfy ride.

As with other Jeep products, the focus is on durability, so the entire stroller is very stable and works just fine even on bumpy terrains.

I can't say that I am thrilled with this stroller, but it does have everything a jogging stroller needs. It was Red Tricycle's "Stroller of the year" in 2019, and a lot of parents recommend it for an excellent quality-per-price ratio.

Generally, the maneuverability is great.

Due to large wheels, it works fine on different terrains, and the handlebar is covered in foam, so it's very convenient for pushing as well.

The seat reclines to provide maximum comfort to your little one, and the stroller is compatible with a number of infant car seats on the market. When you're not using the infant seat, you can use the 5-point harness to buckle up your child safely.

The storage basket is decent, large, and easily accessible, and there's a parent tray and child tray, so you can enjoy the snacks together.

When folded, the stroller has a standard size, so it fits most trunks, and it's not the heaviest model on the market, but it's not really lightweight.

As for the negative reviews, a few parents complained about the front wheel. Namely, it becomes wobbly after a while, and the seat fabric quality is not great, apparently.

Pros
  • Great maneuverability
  • Car seat compatible
  • Large wheels
  • ‘Stroller of the year.’
  • Foldable design
Cons
  • Wobbly front wheel

Thule Urban Glide 2 Jogging Stroller - The Best High-End Double
  • Brand: Thule
  • Price: $$$$
  • Type: Jogging stroller
  • Tires: Air-filled rubber tires
  • Weight recommendation: 100 lbs
  • Weight: 34.2 lbs

Thule Urban Glide is one high-end double jogging stroller with premium features that honestly make a difference.

I recommend it for families with twins, or two kids close in age, looking for a durable high-end device.

When I first saw this stroller, it seemed like the wheels were not the large bicycle tires that I usually see on high-end strollers.

I was so wrong because this stroller has premium rubber pneumatic tires with built-in suspension, so you'll honestly glide on the surface, as the name itself suggests.

The handlebar includes a twist handbrake that allows you to control the speed and have a smoother ride on the downhills. And there's also a trigger that locks the swiveling front wheel in place when you decide to go for a jog.

Now, each seat has multiple reclining positions, a 5-point harness with padded cushions for added comfort, and a canopy.

The canopies offer excellent coverage, but you can additionally extend them and also provide better ventilation since the extended part has a mesh window.

It comes with a large storage compartment with a zipper, two mesh compartments for snacks and toys, and a rear mesh pocket.

And, the stroller is compatible with many Thule accessories, including infant car seats, so you can customize it to your taste.

Overall, the entire stroller exhibits a very stylish and elegant design. It's durable and well-built, but also chic and beautiful.

On the negative side, some customers reported that the front wheel became wobbly, and given the price, this should not be happening.

Pros
  • Stylish
  • Sturdy
  • Easy maneuverability
  • Car seat compatible
  • Converts into a travel system
  • Adjustability
Cons
  • Wobbly front wheel

Joovy Zoom X2 Double Jogging Stroller - The Best Mid-Range Double
  • Brand: Joovy
  • Price: $$$
  • Type: Jogging stroller
  • Tires: Air-filled
  • Weight recommendation: 100 lbs
  • Weight: 28 lbs

This is another model that's constantly mentioned on the internet for its durable design, practical features, and still affordable price.

It's also a double stroller so if you have twins and the Thule model is too expensive for your budget, I have you covered.

The stroller includes three large pneumatic wheels with a suspension system. Therefore, the ride is genuinely smooth and comfortable on all terrains, and since the front wheel locks, you can take it for a jog.

Additionally, Joovy included a free tire pump for the price, so even if the tire turns flat, you are equipped to bring it back to life.

Each seat has a canopy of its own, and each seat reclines individually. The canopy is waterproof with SPF 50+, hence your kiddo is completely safe under it.

What I especially love about this model is the enormous storage basket. Not just that it offers a ton of space, but it's very accessible, so you can definitely bring everything that you need and more.

Now, the stroller is generally very cumbersome, but it takes no more than ten minutes to assemble it. And given that it's a double stroller, it's not too heavy.

Also, it is very simple to fold it down, so although this is not your first choice when it comes to traveling, it is portable to a certain extent.

When it comes to the negative comments, I don't like that there's no peek-a-boo window on the canopy; it's very impractical.

Also, some parents have complained about the quality of the plastic parts.

Pros
  • Somewhat portable
  • Not to heavy
  • great wheels
  • Maneuverable
  • Huge storage basket
Cons
  • No peek-a-boo window
  • Plastic parts

Baby Trend Expedition Double - The Most Affordable Double
  • Brand: Baby Trend
  • Price: $$
  • Type: Jogging stroller
  • Tires: Bicycle
  • Weight recommendation: 100 lbs
  • Weight: 25 lbs

When it comes to double strollers, this is the most affordable offer you can find. It comes from Baby Jogger, and despite the low price, this stroller exhibits some fantastic features.

For starters, the stroller is equipped with three large bicycle tires, so it glides smoothly on different terrains and keeps your babies unaware of the bumps you might come across.

You can lock the front wheel for more stability when jogging or keep it swiveling for easier turns and better maneuverability.

The stroller has one big shared canopy for both seats.

I don't actually like it because it doesn't offer enough coverage. If you look at it from the front side, your children are completely exposed to the sun, so I think it's better when they're two canopies.

Between the seats and the canopy, there are mesh windows, and while they can be super-useful in summer, they could make your children cold in winter.

However, both seats include 5-point harnesses and adjustable footrests. Also, the seats recline in multiple positions, so you can really make your little ones comfortable.

I like the size of the storage basket. It can fit diapers, your bag, groceries; you name it. And It's separated into two compartments for better organization.

For your convenience, there's a parent tray with two cupholders and a closed compartment for your phone and keys.

All in all, it's a nice stroller for the price, but you can really tell the difference in quality between this model and the higher-end offer.

Pros
  • Not too heavy
  • Affordable
  • Great wheels
  • Reclining seats
  • Large storage basket
Cons
  • Not the best quality

What to Look for When Selecting the Best 3 Wheel Baby Strollers?

If you're wondering what stroller features are important when it comes to models with three wheels, keep reading.

I have prepared a detailed guide to a perfect stroller, composed to help you shop like a pro.

1. Tires

best 3 wheel stroller for toddler

Tires are crucial when it comes to any stroller.

Tires determine how smooth the ride will be for your baby or toddler, how well the stroller will handle bumps or rough terrains, and how long it will last, after all.

In contrast to the traditional stroller, usually equipped with plastic wheels, a good jogger stroller includes air-filled wheels, 16-inch or 20-inch in diameter.

Solid rubber wheels are also good, especially for rough terrains. But, avoid small plastic wheels. These indicate low quality.

2. Suspension

Besides the wheels, the suspension system is integral for a smooth ride.

It prevents the transfer of the shock from the wheels to your child's seat, so it's absolutely inevitable for bumpy roads and rough terrain.

3. 5-point Safety Harness

Child safety is your number one concern; therefore, choose only the strollers with 5-point harnesses.

If you can install an infant car seat, even better, but avoid models with 3-point harnesses.

If you're buying a travel system, check the car seat adapters. Make sure you can find a compatible car seat because not all strollers accept all major brands.

best affordable 3 wheel stroller

4. Swivel Lock

Most three-wheelers have a swivel front wheel.

If so, make sure that you can lock it because if you go for a run, it will be impossible to keep one direction with the swiveling wheel constantly moving.

Also, it's a common cause for the swivel wheel to become wobbly, so locking the front swivel wheel is less likely to loosen.

5. Fold

While strollers with three wheels are not a good travel option, it's nice if they have a foldable design.

Fancy additions like a self-standing fold or one-second fold can be super-useful, but with these models, if it fits your trunk, you should be happy.

6. Adjustable Handlebar

An adjustable handlebar is necessary if you want to avoid back issues.

Parents of different heights won't find the same handlebar position comfortable, so it's great if you can adjust it.

Strollers include different mechanisms for handlebar adjustments. Some handlebars require simple pulling, while others include the hinge mechanism.

When in a store, check the handlebar to see if the mechanism is convenient enough for you.

3-wheel Strollers Vs. 4-wheel Strollers

While most people nowadays opt for 3-wheel strollers, there are still parents unaware of the differences between these models and the traditional ones.

So, I'll do a short overview of each type and point out some of their most prominent characteristics.

1. Strollers With Three Wheels

Basically, the main difference between these two types is in maneuverability.

Namely, strollers with three wheels are mainly built for jogging; therefore, their overall design makes them easier to operate.

It's way more convenient to cut corners, turn and generally steer the strollers with three wheels.

Because of their purpose, these strollers include large air-filled tires that can be used on all terrains, so they are excellent for off-roading.

Some can be used with infant car seats, so you can convert them into excellent all-purpose travel systems.

Most models of this kind can be folded, but they are not compact. They tend to weigh a lot, but they come with huge storage baskets.

3-wheel Strollers Vs. 4-wheel Strollers

2. Strollers With Four Wheels

On the other hand, 4-wheel strollers usually have plastic or rubber wheels, so they are not quite suitable for rough terrains and off-road activities.

If they're equipped with a suspension system, they provide smooth, comfortable rides on flat city surfaces, and they usually come with a car seat adapter.

Additionally, traditional 4-wheel strollers are more affordable and more versatile than 3-wheel strollers.

They are not specifically designed for jogging; hence they are lighter and more compact, so they-re more travel-friendly.

3. When Should You Use Each Type?

3-Wheel Strollers

  • Jogging & Off-roading
  • Bumpy terrains
  • Smooth ride in the countryside

4-Wheel Strollers

  • Everyday use
  • Travelling
  • Malls and Disney

For more information about the pros and cons of each type, refer to this super-useful video that helped me understand the differences between these two types better.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best 3-wheel stroller travel system?

To my mind, Graco FastAction Fold Jogger is the best 3-wheel travel system. It's very affordable given that it includes the stroller, the seat, and the base.

However, despite the affordable price, it exhibits excellent quality and performs as one would expect.

What is more, Graco, as a brand, has proven it's quality many times, and it definitely manufactures reliable baby equipment we can trust, so I think one can never go wrong with their products.

Why do some strollers have three wheels?

best 3 wheel baby stroller

In accordance with the purpose for which a certain stroller is manufactured, it can have three or four wheels.

Strollers with three wheels are mainly intended for jogging, but they can be used for everyday purposes as well.

Because of their design and specific wheel configuration, strollers with three wheels are excellent for turns, corners, and their maneuverability is generally much better than the maneuverability of an everyday stroller or a travel system.

Are three wheels better than four?

It's hard to say which configuration is better because it depends on your needs.

If you need a stroller for an active lifestyle, camping, hiking, or off-roading, then strollers with three wheels are better.

However, if you intend to use the jogger for city walks, shopping, Disney, or the mall, then strollers with four wheels are just fine.

Don't waste your money on a product you don't need or won't use. Assess your needs and buy a product that meets them.

Joggers with three wheels are generally more expensive, so if you don't need them for some reason specifically, buy an everyday stroller because it will perform just fine.

What wheels are best for strollers?

The best wheels for a stroller are air-filled rubber wheels with an all-wheel suspension system.

These wheels are smooth, high-quality, and soft. Hence, your child won't feel the bumps and cracks on the road.

Although air-filled tires are more prone to punctures, they are generally better than solid tires.

But, if you're planning hiking or rides on some specific rough terrain, you can opt for solid rubber tires or foam tires because they are less likely to rip off, but the ride won't be as smooth as with pneumatic wheels.

Why do strollers have double wheels?

best three wheel baby stroller

Usually, strollers that have dual wheels are strollers with small plastic or rubber wheels.

Since these wheels are very small and low-quality, the dual setup was supposed to improve the stability and overall performance of the stroller.

Instead of investing in a large bicycle tire, it's cheaper to include two small plastic tires and reinforce the strollers structure.

Despite the dual configuration, these small wheels are not stable or hardwearing. They wear off easily, and they are completely useless on rough terrains or sand.

What is The Best 3 Wheel Stroller in 2022?

The best stroller in this category, to my mind, is the Bob Gear Revolution Flex.

Although there are more high-end strollers, fancier and better-built strollers, Bob Gear Revolution Flex has all you need.

It has large pneumatic wheels, an all-wheel suspension system, a five-point harness, and an adjustable canopy.

The entire stroller is sturdy and well-designed; it has a multi-position reclining seat and a footbrake.

Another fantastic feature is the extended canopy that offers fantastic coverage, ensuring your child's safety.

BOB Gear Revolution Flex 3.0 Jogging Stroller, Graphite Black*
  • VERSATILE JOGGING STROLLER: The BOB Gear Revolution Flex 3.0 Jogging Stroller offers comfort and versatility
  • ADJUSTABLE HANDLEBAR: Creates the perfect fit for parents of all heights
  • EXTRA SPACE: Features 6 storage pockets, including a cell phone pocket at the handlebar and an extra-large cargo basket for your gear
  • 2-STEP FOLDABLE STROLLER: Specifically designed to be folded and unfolded easily, allowing for convenient storage and transportation
  • CRUISE WITH EASE: This all terrain stroller features a suspension system and air-filled tires for an ultra-smooth ride over any terrain

Conclusion

While Bob Gear Revolution Flex is definitely my favorite, there is more than this one model on this list with fantastic stroller features.

Whichever the best 3-wheel stroller you eventually decide to buy, make sure to focus on the stuff that really matters, like your child's safety, and don't let the lavish additions blind you for the true quality that can be hidden.
